Vera Wang Princess is a magical and romantic oriental floral gourmand fragrances of fruits, florals, vanilla and chocolate.
This delightful fragrance opens with fresh, juicy apple and sweet apricot, with delicate florals of Tiare flower and water lily coming in close behind. The heart is deep and mysterious with notes of dark chocolate, vanilla and a burst of Guava. Upon dry-down, inviting amber and woody notes are abundant and add substance.
Princess lasted 4+ hours on the skin, which is pretty impressive considering it is an Eau de Toilette. It is one of those fragrances you are more than happy to re-apply and give it another boost!
As for when to wear, this is a very versatile fragrance that can be worn in any season. Leans more towards daytime and into the early evening in my opinion as the base notes are lighter. Perfect for daytime events such as weddings, garden parties, and romantic weekends away.

2. Princess Noir – Eau de Toilette
Review
Vera Wang Princess Noir is the ‘stay-up-late’ sister of the original Princess fragrance. It contains more sultry gourmand aromas of fruits, florals, coupled with the intoxicating scent of patchouli.
This sultry fragrance opens relatively sweetly with succulent blackcurrant, orange and light pear but soon reveals a darker side. The heart is dark and intoxicating with heady notes of patchouli with its sexy aroma, entwined with freesia, dark chocolate, vanilla and a burst of Guava. Upon dry-down, warming and slightly spicy amber and deep rosewood add mystery and depth. Wow!
Princess Noir lasted 3+ hours before it sadly began to fade. This is OK for an evening fragrance if you are just out to dinner. I did use an unscented moisturiser the second time I tried it, and it added an extra hour! One to keep in your purse to top-up when needed as it is a beautiful fragrance.
As for when to wear; an any-season fragrance as the fruits and florals lighten the deep sensual base. Definitely, a perfume to wear in the evening to a more formal event such as a party, wedding evening or elegant dinner.
Presented in a delightful heart-shaped crystal cut bottle with a clear top and a silver-bejewelled crown. Comes wearing its own little-black-dress.

Vera Wang Be Jeweled is all about fun and self-expression. Energise yourself with this cheerful yet playful floral/fruity fragrance that oozes sophistication and class.
The opening is cheerfully sweet and sparkling with fruity notes of passion fruit, redcurrant and pomegranate. Mid notes are delicate florals of honeysuckle and peony that entwine with the fruity top notes. Upon dry-down, base notes of musk and sandalwood add a sense of refinement and elegance to the overall experience of Be Jeweled.
Regarding longevity, Vera Wang Be Jeweled lasted 3+ hours before becoming a skin-scent. As I have mentioned with Princess Noir, try applying an unscented moisturiser first to squeeze every last drop out of this fragrance. It is such reasonable value that to top it up is no problem.
As for when to wear, the delightful fruits, florals and sweetness of Be Jeweled make this a spring/summer fragrance for sure. One for the daytime as the base is quite light. I can see myself wearing it while going shopping or perhaps enjoying lunch with friends.
Presented in a striking crystal cut bottle with a bejewelled neck in light purple. Finished with a sharp edges crystal looking stopper. Looks fantastic.
In summary, Vera Wang Be Jeweled is cheerful and youthful, yet has a sophisticated side. Makes a beautiful daytime feminine fragrance that is fruity, floral, sweet yet a little musky. Lovely.

4. Forever Vera – Eau de Parfum
Review
Vera Wang Forever Vera is a stark reminder to always hold the things you cherish close to your heart. Bask in the emotion that this powdery floral/woody fragrance can create.
Opens gently with soft peach and the floral note of gardenia. I did not detect much coconut. Mid notes are fantastic and where the fragrance shines. Powdery Iris and heady lilac steal the show and add a classic fragrance vibe. Boozy rum also becomes apparent, which is an exciting addition. Upon dry-down, base notes are musky, woody and a subtle vanilla-like scent of tonka bean. Overall a very classy fragrance.
Longevity was medium-lasting at 4+ hours. The woody/musky/boozy notes help up well and are quite feminine, even once the florals have faded.
As for when to wear, Forever Vera can be enjoyed in any season. For me personally, the floral/woody and slightly boozy notes are more for late afternoon into the evening—the perfect fragrance to wear to the theatre for an afternoon show or an early dinner.
Presented in my favourite Vera Wang bottle. Has an almost melted crystal look and a feminine pink glow of the fragrance inside. The neck and around the label has a silver metal looking chain that sets everything off so nicely.
In summary, Vera Wang Forever Vera has a real classic, almost Chanel-like scent about it. Those powdery florals are classy and timeless, and the addition of boozy/musky notes adds a sense of refinement.

Release your inner Juliet with Vera Wang Lovestruck. This romantic fruity/floral feminine fragrance is both exotic and sensual. Will you find your Romeo?
Vera Wang Lovestruck opens with the tropical sweetness of Guava combined with the sweet citrus of Mandarin orange. The mid notes bloom with the scent of delightful tuberose paired with fragrant Lotus flower that casts its heady sweet floral/fruity spell. The dry-down is a beautiful combination of musk and woods that underpin the entire fragrance. Overall a very sensual and romantic feminine fragrance.
Lovestruck lasted 4+ hours with reasonable sillage before becoming a skin scent. The musk and lotus flower in particular held up really well.
As for when to wear, Lovestruck is a fragrance that can be worn pretty much for any season. Slightly more daytime than night. Ideal for romantic city-breaks, long walks with your significant other, and any time when is romance is in the air.
Presented in a strikingly feminine clear-glass bottle with a pink/purple glow. Exquisitely finished with a bouquet of flowers and ribbon on top.

Simply named Vera Wang, this beautiful white floral perfume is both intimate and breathtaking. This is one of those classic fragrances that you can where you first encountered it.
The opening is divine, with notes of lily and gardenia that dance with the citrus tones of orange and bergamot. The heart of this perfume is white floral. A bouquet of rose, jasmine and iris bloom and entwine with the lily and gardenia that become more prominent. Upon dry-down, woody base notes are light and simple, which allows the florals to keep centre-stage. This is a pretty fragrance without being too girly. Think classic feminine.
One of the longer-lasting Vera Wang fragrances at 5+ hours. Very impressive for a white floral fragrance with only a light woody base.
As for when to wear, the white florals evoke a feeling of spring-summer on a beautiful day. Perhaps ideal for wearing as a bridal fragrance or another life-changing event. You can then wear it long after the event to relive all of those emotions.

Review
Vera Wang Green Tea & Pear Blossom is a delicate floral and green fragrance from the Embrace collection of scents that is both fresh and calming.
The opening is delicate with pear blossom and crisp bergamot. Green tea also emerges. Mild floral mid notes of freesia and peony, however, it is the green tea that really shines. Dry-down has woody notes of sandalwood combined with musk and what smells like freshly cut cedar. Overall a delightful feminine scent.
Longevity is poor at 2+ hours before becoming a skin scent. Its saving grace is that it smells divine, so you will go to the effort of re-applying.
Embrace Green Tea & Pear Blossom is undoubtedly a spring/summer daytime fragrance. One to wear when you want to feel a bit special when out to lunch or brunch. Would even make a great work fragrance as it is discreet but pleasantly present.
Presented in a clean-lined bottle which takes on a light green glow due to the fragrance. Finished with a matt silver cap.

8. Embrace Rose Buds & Vanilla – Eau de Toilette
Review
Vera Wang Embrace Rose Buds & Vanilla is from the Embrace collection of scents. It is a dainty oriental floral fragrance that focuses on rose and vanilla.
Begins with the mild sweet citrus of orange that blends with delicate rose. Right from the start, you know you are in for something special. Iris and magnolia soon bloom although give way swiftly to sensual vanilla. The dry-down sees more vanilla and rose, together with a woody/musky base. If you love vanilla and rose fragrances then look no further, this one is fantastic.
Longevity is 3+ hours, so not incredible performance. However, most rose/vanilla fragrances will not last much longer unless propped up with heavy notes that can overpower.
Embrace Rose Buds & Vanilla is a great all year round feminine fragrance that is more daytime/early evening. I would recommend layering with something with a deeper woody/musky base if wearing for the evening.

9. Embrace Periwinkle & Iris – Eau de Toilette
Review
Vera Wang Embrace Periwinkle & Iris is another from the Embrace collection of scents. It is a powdery oriental floral fragrance that has a sweet and creamy side.
The opening is fresh and zesty with orange and bergamot in equal measure. The heart of this fragrance is a bouquet of floral notes; violet, iris, sweet jasmine and periwinkle all play their part. I will confess to not knowing what periwinkle smells like but can explain that the florals in this fragrance are delicate and almost creamy rather than being harsh and green.
The dry-down is rich and slightly sweet, with benzoin and vanilla both providing support for the upper floral notes.
Longevity was far better then I expected. Lasted 5+ hours on my skin. Sillage was also excellent.
Periwinkle & Iris is another beautiful Vera Wang all-year-round fragrance. I personally would wear this day or night but would layer with something that has more spiciness for the evening. Just the kind fragrance to put a spring in your step.

10. Embrace Marigold & Gardenia – Eau de Toilette
Review
Last on our list from the Embrace collection is Marigold & Gardenia. This is a feminine floral/fruity fragrance with a spicier side with certainly adds complexity and mystery!
Embrace Marigold & Gardenia begins with juicy tropical mango and melon that blend nicely with orange blossom. Mid notes of alluringly musky marigold and silky smooth gardenia make themselves known, and they work so well with the initial fruity notes.
The base notes are, in my opinion, the best of all the Vera Wang fragrances we have reviewed. Spicy yet sweet/nutty cardamom surfaces together with musk and woody notes. These allow the marigold & gardenia to really shine. I love the cardamom in this fragrance. Fantastic!
Be warned, longevity is not great. In 2 hours its a skin scent and sillage is only moderate.
Embrace Marigold & Gardenia is a spring/summer fragrance that is more daytime. Think sitting by the pool sipping cocktails!
Presented in the Embrace collection style of clean-lined bottle with a subtle caramel glow. Finished with a silver cap.
In summary, Embrace Embrace Marigold & Gardenia is a beautifully fresh white floral fragrance. Its poor longevity will require re-application so you will need to carry it with you! A small price to pay to smell this good.
