Few fragrance houses have amassed such as an impressive list of famous female advocates as The House of Creed. Queen Victoria, Audrey Hepburn, Michelle Obama, Julia Roberts, Madonna and Angelina Jolie are just a handful of successful women who have all looked to the niche perfumery for a unique fragrance.
Of the many beautiful Creed fragrances, our Best Creed Perfumes For Her collection contains twelve outstanding feminine fragrances for your consideration.
A Brief History Of Creed Fragrance
The House of Creed has been creating fragrances for dignitaries, royalty and the discerning for over 260 years. Originally founded by James Henry Creed in 1760 as a tailor making scented leather gloves and other fine-tailored clothing in London’s Conduit Street.
Creed created a pair of scented riding gloves which were presented to King George III. The gloves and their exquisite fragrance were so well received by the King that he requested Creed to make him a personal scent. That fragrance, Royal English Leather, was launched in 1781 and is still available today.
The royal legacy does not stop there. King George III’s granddaughter, Queen Victoria, appointed Creed as an official fragrance supplier to her royal household. Then in 1854, there was a significant shift when Napoleon III and his Empress, Eugénie, commissioned The House of Creed to create a spectacular fragrance. Creed moved its headquarters to Paris, where it still remains.
The list goes on. Creed has produced several fragrances for many screen icons; Spring Flower for Audrey Hepburn, Fleurissimo for Grace Kelly, and Green Irish Tweed for Cary Grant are just a few examples.
12 Best Creed Perfumes For Her
Of the numerous delightful feminine Creed fragrances, we selected the twelve best Creed perfumes for women that really stood out. Each of these high-class fragrances offers effortless style, class and sophistication.
1. Spring Flower – Eau de Parfum
Review:
Creed Spring flower is a timeless classic feminine fragrance with a playful floral and fruity persona.
The opening is fruity with melon and peach. The melon gives it an aquatic feel, and there is also unlisted aldehydes, but they’re not harsh. The sweet fruitiness lingers forever, and it blends with the rose and jasmine. At the base is a light musk and ambergris.
You need to be pre-warned about the opening as it is sharp and smells of pure alcohol. However, after the initial shock, it soon becomes very fruity and juicy with subtle sweet notes of peach and melon. Refreshingly crisp apple is also clearly present and contrasts nicely with the softer fruits.
Soon you are greeted with a bouquet of classic rose and sweet jasmine that mingle with the summer fruits. Upon dry-down, there is an intriguingly soft, musky, earthy side to this fragrance that works incredibly well with the florals. This is a very ‘pretty’ perfume once you get past the initial opening and remains that way for the duration.
One to wear in the spring/summer and feels more daytime than evening wear. Longevity is reasonably good at 4+ hours before a top-up is required with moderate sillage.
The 75ml bottle, in particular, caught my eye and is delightfully presented in a bright pink bottle with a cute floral patterned bow made of ribbon.
In summary, Creed Spring flower is quite simply a classic feminine spring/summer fragrance. Perfect for afternoon tea or a garden party when the sun is shining. Perhaps with a cheeky Pimms or G&T.
Top Notes:
Melon, Peach, Apple
Mid Notes:
Jasmine, Rose

2. Love In White – Eau de Parfum
Review
Creed Love In White is a romantic oriental floral fragrance that is both sophisticated and refined.
The opening of Love In White begins with the creamy notes of magnolia balanced with orange peel and powdery iris. After perhaps a minute or so a wave of freshness surfaces in the form of Tonkin rice and sunny narcissus which just shouts summertime. The dry-down is a delicious combination of sultry vanilla.
I love the natural start and the build-up of the mid notes towards the dry down. An excitingly fresh oriental floral fragrance that makes a unique alternative to the more woody/amber heavy orientals.
The (75ml) bottle is presented in ultra-clean white with a cute silver bow. The Creed crest is embossed on the side. Silver lettering completes the look. Very chic and feminine.
The clean/crisp notes of rice and zesty orange, combined with magnolia and narcissus certainly give this fragrance more of a spring/summer vibe.
The longevity of 5+ hours is pretty good considering the lack of any woody, musky, or amber base notes.
Overall, Creed Love In White is a classy, bright and fresh floral oriental fragrance that is perfect for summer.

3. Love In White For Summer – Eau de Parfum
Review
Inspired by a passionate summer romance, Creed Love In White For Summer is the fruitier and slightly more floral version of the original Love In White. Immerse yourself in delicate florals and light woods with a touch of powder.
Love In White For Summer is fresher, lighter, sunnier, more refreshing & airy Love in White. Pure & gentle magnolia, jasmine rice, juicy bergamot & crispy green apple is the perfect combination of floral beauty and sheer freshness.
Begins lighter and fresher than the original Love In White. Clean and juicy notes of crisp, zesty bergamot, summertime magnolia and a subtle freshness provided by notes of rice. Upon dry-down, the magnolia seems to gain even more life and mingles with woody base notes of sandalwood and freshly cut cedar with hints of musky, earthy ambergris.
This fragrance has such a sunny disposition that is is a must for the spring/summer months. As it is light on musk/wood/amber/spice, I would suggest this is a daytime scent.
Longevity is relatively good at 4+ hours with decent sillage. Certainly not a skin scent, lovely.
The 75ml bottle is clean and crisp with clear glass and white cap. The Creed crest is proudly displayed on the side of the bottle and the top of the lid.
Overall, Love In White For Summer is precisely that, a beautiful feminine white floral summertime fragrance that both delicate and romantic.

4. Love In Black – Eau de Parfum
Review
Creed Love In Black is an elegant powdery/floral feminine fragrance that mimics a sensual blanket of black velvet scattered with Italian violets.
It opens with a fanfare of powdery violet and iris notes that transcend to a sweet bubble bath scent. Soon jammy notes of delicious blackcurrant introduce themselves and are joined by a touch of rose. Although the rose is discreet, it adds class to the overall experience. The base of woody/musky notes with the subtle spice of cloves provide a delightful base. This is a warm, fresh, and relaxing scent. Beautiful
Although this is a floral fragrance, the blackcurrant combines with the woody musky base feels autumn/fall so one for the colder months.
Longevity is outstanding at 6+ hours with generous, but not overpowering, sillage. The (75ml) bottle is presented in opulent jet black with the crest embossed on the side in black, with white lettering.
To summarise, Love In Black is a vibrant and luxurious fragrance which is floral, powdery and woody. It is a delicate feminine fragrance that is not overly girly.

5. Aventus For Her – Eau de Parfum
Review
Inspired by history’s most powerful women, Aventus For Her is a unique feminine fragrance that is sophisticated, charming and quite simply irresistible.
This exquisitely crafted fragrance opens with the freshness of crisp apple and zesty bergamot that dance with aromatic notes of pink pepper. Soon, blooming rose, powdery violet, and buttery ylang-ylang come to centre stage. These are balanced with the light fruity tones of peach and juicy blackcurrant. 6. Fantasia De Fleurs – Eau de Parfum
Review
Fantasia de Fleurs is a shimmering feminine floral fragrance that Creed crafted to celebrate “Sissi” the Empress Elisabeth of Austria-Hungary. She was renowned for her exceptional beauty and exquisite taste. I love experiencing a fragrance with only a handful of notes that then transforms into so much more. This is Fantasia de Fleurs.
The floral opening is delightfully old fashioned, almost historic in its delivery of zesty bergamot and rich, vibrant florals of rose, iris and tuberose. I instantly felt whisked off to a palace ball or gala. The slightly animalistic ambergris base keeps things rather intriguing and inviting, while all the time is remaining refined, classy, and dare I say lady-like.
This fragrance is a winner any time of year. Although it is indeed classy and sophisticated, there is also a relaxed, confident, carefree vibe that is suitable for any occasion.
The longevity of Fantasia De Fleurs is excellent at 8+ hours on skin and more prolonged, of course on clothing. Sillage is good but not overpowering.
Presented in one of Creed’s classic, clean-edged bottles with their logo emblazoned in gold on the side and crest/logo beautifully embossed. Finished with a black cap with a gold top.
Overall, Fantasia De Fleurs is exquisitely floral, delicately soft, and oh-so high-class feminine. A fragrance to fall in love with.

7. Fleurs De Gardenia – Eau de Parfum
Review
Effortlessly feminine, Creed Fleurs De Gardenia is a romantically floral experience to conjures up delightful scents of blooming meadows in springtime.
The opening is a divine combination of florals, pink pepper and blackcurrant. If you don’t fall in love with this fragrance in the first 60 seconds, then you never will.
Delicate Gardenia, Peony and Lily-of-the-Valley all play their part in this orchestra of floral delights. The rose is, unfortunately, a bit muted for me (as I am a rose lover) but is present. The base is musky with hints of freshly cut wood. This is a must-try if you appreciate beautifully blended floral fragrances.
The longevity of this fragrance is good, considering it is floral focused. 4+ hours is no problem but may need a top-up if you are out for the whole day to re-energise those delightful florals.
This fragrance has spring/summer in its DNA. This is just the scent to wear on a perfect sunny day to a garden party or other fancy outdoors occasion.
Beautifully presented in classic Creed style. The 75ml bottle is classy and curved with clear glass and purple lettering. The black cap with purple logo on the top completes the look. Lovely.

8. Royal Princess Oud – Eau de Parfum
Review
Creed Royal Princess Oud is a captivating feminine fragrance of sultry florals and the warming sweetness of that oh-so-rare and luxurious perfume ingredient, oud.
The opening is attention-grabbing in a truly feminine way. Iris and violet are first to bloom, alongside crisp bergamot. Shortly after, intoxicating patchouli makes itself known with its heady and sensual earthy aroma, as does sweet jasmine. Dry-down is a sumptuous mixture of sweet vanilla and warming oud, with iris fading in and out. A beautiful feminine fragrance to wear when you are all dressed up and want to feel extra special.
Longevity is excellent at 8+ hours, Royal Princess Oud keeps going and going. Not heavy sillage but not a skin scent neither.
As for when to wear, I personally feel that oud and patchouli tend to lean towards the transition seasons of spring and autumn/fall.
Royal Princess Oud is presented in true Creed style. The 75ml bottle has a red glow which is classy and curved with clear glass and gold lettering. A gold cap with starker gold logo on the top sets the tone of a refined fragrance.

9. Angelique Encens – Eau de Parfum
Review
Creed Angelique Encens is a sensual oriental fragrance that is both rich and delicate in personality. Said to emulate the sparkle for a glass of the finest champagne, this is one sect to put a spring in your step.
It is worth noting that Angelique Encens usually is only available in-store in Creed’s Mayfair boutique; however, this opulent feminine fragrance appears online for a limited period only!
Angelique Encens opens elegantly with coriander, Bulgarian rose and violet. Unlike some fragrances, I enjoy this right from the start. After a few minutes, spicier notes of pepper and cinnamon make their way forward as does patchouli. Dry-down is an exquisite smoky affair of vetiver, sensual musk, soothing incense. This is both sexy and mysterious, so dressing up is required to do this beauty justice.
As for when to wear, definitely an autumn/winter scent to wear to a special evening occasion. Think ball, dancing, fine dining or another fancy event.
Longevity is excellent and lasts an impressive 7+ hours with good sillage. A crowd-pleaser, not a room clearer.
Beautifully presented in the classic 75 ml creed bottle with gold medallion and black cap. This fragrance looks very special, indeed.
Overall, wow, this is an incredibly glamorous feminine fragrance that gets both attention and compliments. One for your wish-list.

10. Jasmin Imperatrice Eugenie – Eau de Parfum
Review
This particular fragrance is steeped in history. When the French Empress Eugenie desired a new fragrance, her husband Emperor Napoleon III commissioned Creed to make her a seductive oriental floral fragrance, Creed relocated to Paris to begin their majestic task.
Jasmin Imperatrice Eugenie opens enticingly with crisp bergamot and enticingly slightly sweet vanilla. Jasmine soon becomes the star of the show with its sweet, rich fragrance. Upon dry-down, woody notes of sandalwood and the slightly animalistic, although feminine, the scent of ambergris moves in to provide the base. There are also hints of resinous amber which add to the overall sensual tone.
Personally, I feel this is an any-season fragrance. More of an evening fragrance due to its sensual undertone, or even a flirty afternoon fragrance.
Longevity is incredible at 8+ hours with excellent sillage. Not too much, but not too little.
Beautifully presented in the classy 75 ml creed bottle with gold lettering, black cap with a gold top. Would look fabulous on any dresser.
In summary. Creed has created a timelessly seductive oriental floral feminine fragrance that is as relevant today as it was over 150 years ago.

Bulgarian Rose, Italian Jasmine, Ambergris

11. White Flowers – Eau de Parfum
Review
White Flowers is becoming a true Creed classic. This fresh green floral fragrance has a youthful energy that transcends age to instead reveal the inner child within all of us.
Opens cleanly and green with notes of apple, violet leaf and light lemon that are all wonderfully fresh. Soon leads you down the garden path to a trio of florals, consisting of jasmine, geranium and rose. These balance the initial green and the whole experience feels delicate and feminine. But wait, there is more, as sweet narcissus begins to slowly bloom and finally becomes the centre of attention. A musky woody base completes this dynamic fragrance.
As for when to wear, summertime for sure. The green of the apple and violet leaf really lifts the summer white flowers. Plus geranium always reminds me of summer spent as a child in my grandmothers garden.
Longevity is moderate at 4+ hours which is expected for such a floral fragrance. Sillage is good, however, particularly the narcissus and jasmine project well.
The 75ml bottle is very grand with its tall demeanour and gold Creed emblem repeatedly displayed on the glass. Finished with a classy gold cap and medallion.
Overall, a classic spring/summer feminine fragrance that is invigorating, youthful and fun. Makes a beautiful morning fragrance to start the day with energy.

Rose Imperiale is a luxurious fragrance that is Creed’s tribute to the noblest of flowers, the rose. Throughout history, the rose has been depicted in paintings, tapestries and even majestic crowns. Travel back to a time of grandeur and experience all the rose has to offer.
