With summer fast approaching, it’s time to carefully store those heavier cold weather fragrances away and unleash the feel-good aromas of summer. The best frangipani perfumes offer a dazzling feast of tropical floral and fruity notes.

Frangipani is a fragrant flower that adds a tropical sweet summertime vibe to any perfume. Although frangipani is indeed a sweet floral scent, it also brings the tropical fruitiness of pineapple, citrus and coconut, all wrapped in delicate sweet spices.

The frangipani tree (Plumeria) is small in stature and native to the warmer parts of South America, Mexico, the Caribbean, and the Pacific Islands. In the summer months, the tree produces magnificent fragrant blooms of frangipani flowers that are harvested and used in perfume, scented candles and beauty products.

Conclusion

Each of these beautiful fragrances uses the magical powers of the frangipani flower to maximum effect. My personal favourite from this list is Parfums de Marly Cassili Eau de Parfum, as its combination of frangipani, plum, berries, and rose are exquisite.

Aerin Lauder Hibiscus Palm Eau de Parfum was a very close second. Considering it’s half the price of Cassili makes it incredible value for how expensive it smells.
