Tom Daxon may not be the best-known name in perfumery, right now, but we predict that a seismic shift is underway of this niche brand. The best Tom Daxon fragrances blend the incredible with the improbable to produce attention-grabbing, timeless scents for both men and women.

The young Tom Daxon grew up in astonishingly fragrant surroundings and learned to appreciate complex blends at a very young age. His mother was an esteemed perfumer plus spent time with Jacques Chabert (of Molton Brown fame) and his daughter Carla.

Since the initial launch in 2013, Tom Daxon fragrances have continued to catch the attention of fragrance experts and lovers alike as a brand to get excited about.

The best Tom Daxon fragrances mix the bold with the unusual and the traditional with the groundbreaking without breaking a sweat. Here are 10 fabulous Tom Daxon unisex fragrances for your consideration.

1. Iridium Eau de Parfum

Review

Iridium is an unusual and rich fragrance. Despite opening with an iris-juniper blast, it feels better suited for the guys. This undermining of traditions and norms is pretty standard for Tom Daxon’s scents.

Opening with a musky and soft scent, Iridium has top notes of carrot seeds, angelica, and juniper. Soon, a floral heart of iris blooms into the fore. The iris stays dominant throughout the evolution of this fragrance. Still, a base of cedar, vetiver, and ISO-E Super give it a dry, earthy finish that highlights the masculine lean.

Iridium is best worn as a sophisticated daytime scent in the changeover seasons of spring and autumn. You can expect a good 4+ hours of wear before feeling the need to re-apply. Sillage and projection are both reasonable; not a room filler but will get noticed.

In short, Iridium is a masculine daytime fragrance that blends a manly version of iris with the woodiness of Iso-E Super. Classy and refined.

Top Notes:

Juniper, Carrot seeds, Angelica

Mid Notes:

Iris

Base Notes:

Cedar, Vetiver, Iso-E super

Review

VSOP mixes the masculine and feminine perfectly to create a truly unisex fragrance. This luxury scent is both extravagant and rather hypnotic.

The opening is incredible, with a sweet and bitter, slightly burnt, note of boozy cognac, zesty bergamot and earthy geranium. A heart of black pepper, cinnamon, and pink pepper add depth and mystery. Upon dry-down, a sexy base of sandalwood, cashmeran, vetiver, and musk result in a genuinely show-stopping finish.

This is an incredibly glamorous autumn/winter evening fragrance that is well worth getting dressed up for. Received lots of compliments when I had it on.

The sillage is excellent and longevity is a reasonable 3-4 hours. It’s worth the bother taking a small bottle with you when out-and-about to top-up as this is such a great scent.

Overall, VSOP is a sensual unisex fragrance with a complex palette and sparkling finish. It’s our favourite!

Sensual, seductive and addictive, Midnight Saffron leans slightly more towards the feminine, but it is far from traditional.

As an exotic and spiced leather-based fragrance, Vachetta is more of a traditional masculine scent but does have a sweet, spicy feminine edge to it.

The top notes of cardamom, coriander and nutmeg make Vachetta attention-grabbing on first application. As the heart notes of guaiac wood, tea, and jasmine bloom, it mellows and becomes warm and soothing.
