1. Olaplex Nº.0 Intensive Bond Building Treatment
Review
Offering the single highest concentration of the patented Olaplex technology, Nº.0 Intensive Bond Building Treatment is one-half of a two-part system designed specifically for highly damaged hair.
This potent product is a primer for the second step of the process (Nº.3 Hair Perfector) and sinks into the strands of hair to create a base that reduces oxidative stress and creates a foundation for new keratin bonds in distressed and damaged areas. Olaplex Nº.0 needs to be used in conjunction with Nº.3 Hair Perfector.
How To Apply
Apply directly to dry hair, saturate every strand, leave to sink in for 10 minutes, and do not wash away before adding the second product (Nº.3 Hair Perfector).
My main advice here is don’t use a bowl as suggested as it wastes far too much of the product. Simple (and sparingly) apply straight to your hair.

2. Olaplex Nº.3 Hair Perfector
Review
The second part of the iconic two-part bond rebuilding system, Nº.3 Hair Perfector, is a pre-shampoo treatment with a difference. Particularly good for highly damaged hair, this product can also be used to strengthen and protect.
The aim of this product is rather than temporarily giving the appearance of healthier hair, it actually helps to repair hair by rebuilding the bonds between keratin molecules in the hair.
How To Apply
Gently comb Nº.3 Hair Perfector through your hair that is already saturated with Nº.0 Intensive Bond Building Treatment. Leave Nº.3 in for at least 10 minutes (I left it in for 20 minutes) to improve overall hair health and strength.
Repeat this two-part treatment once or twice a week to gradually improve the condition of your hair. I initially used it 3 times a week for the first two weeks to give me a boost, and now I use it twice a week.

Best used in conjunction with Nº.0 and Nº.3, the Nº.4 Bond Maintenance Shampoo is designed to maintain healthy, strong hair in the face of heat-based styling and environmental stresses.
Using cruelty-free, gentler cleansing ingredients such as Camellia seed ferment and apricot oil, this bond-maintaining shampoo removes pollution, dirt, and product build-up while maintaining the bonds created by Nº.0 and Nº.3.
How To Apply
Lather Nº.4 Bond Maintenance Shampoo into damp hair and work from root to tip, massaging the scalp to dislodge dirt and product build-up. Rinse thoroughly before conditioning with Nº.5 Bond Maintenance Conditioner (reviewed next).
I will say that if you use many hair products daily, it can be helpful to use a clarifying shampoo, but do not do this on days when you use Nº.0 and Nº.3.

How To Apply
Massage Nº.5 Bond Maintenance Conditioner into the ends and middle of your hair and allow it to sink in for at least three to four minutes before rinsing thoroughly and patting dry with a soft towel.

Using an intense blend of Olaplex technology and hydrating active ingredients, Nº.8 is a moisture shot for brittle, damaged hair. Active ingredients such as Avocado oil, Jojoba, and ceramides increase shine and provide a silky finish.

My top Olaplex pick is actually two products designed to work together; Nº.0 Intensive Bond Buiding Hair Treatment and Nº.3 Hair Perfector.
After 30 days, my hair is feeling stronger, less damaged, and slightly thicker. I will be buying these again as they do make a difference to my hair.
My Experience With Olaplex Hair Repair
My overall experience with Olaplex hair products has been positive, and I am pleased with the results. I will be purchasing Olaplex again as my hair is, after 30 days, less damaged looking and feels more robust and slightly thicker.
I especially like how the Nº.0 Intensive Bond Buiding Hair Treatment and the Nº.3 Hair Perfector are designed to work together, as are the Nº.4 Bond Maintenance Shampoo and Nº.5 Bond Maintenance Conditioner.
Conclusion
There’s an Olaplex product for every type of hair, plus these products work just as well as a preventative and protective measure as they do in a care and repair capacity.
While these products are formulated to work together, you do not need to use all of them to get results. The only exception is the two-part bond repair system; Nº.0 and Nº.3 should be used together, but all other products work well as standalone treatments.
One last thing to mention is that prevention is the best solution for hair damage. I wish I had started using quality hair products sooner as part of my hair and beauty regime, as they can make a difference.
