The original Taylor EDP is also available as the Taylor Solid Perfume Pencil. This complex and rich fragrance retains the same blend of soft fruits and feminine floral notes as the EDP but is brighter and slightly sweeter.
The pencil reveals the notes pretty much all at once. Sweet litchi, tangerine and lemony magnolia blend with vanilla orchid, peony and hortensia. Fresh, sweet apricot is the star of the show. This fragrance smells divine and is so easy to carry about. What more could you want?
As with the EDP version, the Taylor Solid Perfume Pencil is best suited to spring and summer day wear for any occasion. Think shopping trips, out with friends, a cheeky coffee, and anytime you need a discreet boost of fragrance.
I found the fragrance pencil to perform pretty well. The longevity of 2-3 hours before becoming a skin scent. Sillage and projection are only modest, so best used for close encounters or when you want to smell beautiful just for yourself.
