The best Primark perfumes for women offer designer smelling fragrances without the designer price tag. We’ve selected 10 for your consideration.

1. Love Noir Eau de Toilette

Review

Love Noir Eau de Toilette is an exotic oriental, fruity/floral feminine scent with a soothing base of caramel and vanilla notes. Fans of this fragrance have commented on how similar it is to La Vie Est Belle by Lancôme, for a fraction of the price.

The opening notes of Love Noir begin with juicy blackcurrant and soft pear. A floral heart of sweet jasmine and a touch of powdery iris soon injects a sense of carefree femininity. This delicate combination of fruits and flowers blend into the delicious sweetness of caramel and vanilla tones of creamy tonka bean.

As for when to wear, with its sweet caramel and fruity/florals, Love Noir leans more towards autumn/winter and creeping into spring. Makes a great everyday fragrance and is suitable for both daywear and evening wear.

Sillage and projection are moderate with longevity at 3+ hours from each application. At this incredibly low price, you don’t mind reapplying to keep this beautiful scent going!

Elegantly presented in a rounded bottle with silver sprayer and clear cap (that looks very similar to Chanel Chance). The fragrance inside is slightly pink, and the outer box is deep purple with a white logo panel. How they make it for this price, I will never know.

Overall, Love Noir Eau de Toilette is a nicely balanced, elegant fruity/floral scent with a sweet caramel side. Makes an excellent everyday version of La Vie Est Belle.

2. Love Rose Eau de Toilette

Review

Love Rose Eau de Toilette is a pretty rose fragrance that possesses an almost victorian rose garden persona. Said by many users to be a dupe of several Jimmy Choo fragrances, in particular, Tempting Rose.

Unafraid to put its namesake note upfront, Love Rose opens with delicate rose petals and green stems. A heart of fruity notes subtly creeps in to add some delicious sweetness. Upon dry-down, a woody base provides elegance and depth.

As for when to wear, Love Rose is a feel-good scent that is perfect for spring and summer days. Think summer parties, long walks, shopping trips, and carefree days.

The performance of Love Rose EDT is good. You can expect 3-4 hours of longevity before it becomes a skin scent. Sillage and projection are mild to moderate.

Presented in the same elegant Chanel-like rounded bottle with silver sprayer and clear cap as Love Noir. The fragrance inside is again, slightly pink. The outer box is a feminine light pink with a white logo panel.

Overall, Love Rose Eau de Toilette is a pretty everyday rose fragrance that smells far more expensive than its incredibly low price. Fans say it’s similar to several Jimmy Choo fragrances. What’s not to like?

Review

Part of the Collection Privé line, Luminous Peach and Honeysuckle Eau de Parfum is a fruity floral fragrance that screams summertime. Soft peach and fragrant honeysuckle will put a spring in your step as it envelops you in its delightful aroma.

The opening of Luminous Peach and Honeysuckle EDP is gentle, with juicy, soft peach and mandarin introducing their fruity sweetness. A floral heart of rose petals and neroli adds a lemony floral note depicting honeysuckle that is warm and inviting. Upon dry-down, a light dusting of tonka bean adds a subtle sweet vanilla/almond vibe. Amber and patchouli also appear.

As for when to wear, Luminous Peach and Honeysuckle is a feel-good summertime fragrance most suited for daywear. Think garden parties, shopping trips, lunches with friends. Would also make a great office scent.

Performance of this Eau de Parfum is pretty good, I could still smell it close to my skin after 4 hours. Projection and sillage are light but undoubtedly present.

Presented in an upright bottle with straight lines and a light peach hue, finished with a gold sprayer and white cap. The outer packaging is feminine and pretty.

Review

Pear And White Flower Eau de Parfum is part of the Primark Collection Privé. It is an enticing blend of fruits and white floral notes that settles nicely into a delightfully warming base. If you are a lover of Jo Malone – English Pear and Freesia, then look no further.

The opening of Pear And White Flower Eau de Parfum begins sweetly with delicate pear and juicy melon. The floral heart of White Rose and freesia bloom to create a feminine scent that is youthful and vibrant. Upon dry-don, amber adds warmth, while patchouli unleashes its intoxicating spicy/musky tones.

As for when to wear, Pear And White Flower Eau de Parfum is an excellent any-season scent. The floral and fruity notes work brilliantly for spring/summer/fall day or night. The amber and patchouli have the punch to ease into winter daytime. Not a full-on winter evening fragrance but still highly versatile.

You can expect 3-4 hours of longevity before Pear And White Flower becomes a skin scent. Applying a decent moisturiser beforehand will help, as does spraying on clothing. Sillage and projection are moderate.

Nicely presented in an upright clear-glass bottle with straight lines, finished with a gold sprayer and gold cap. The white outer packaging with its gold panel and white lettering looks classy.

Overall, Pear And White Flower Eau de Parfum is pretty much a dupe of Jo Malone – English Pear and Freesia. Grab yourself a bargain.

6. Pomegranate & Black Tea Eau de Parfum

Review

A love letter to the ever-classic Jo Malone – Pomegranate Noir, Primark Pomegranate & Black Tea Eau de Parfum is a pomegranate fragrance with an aromatic, earthy/woody twist.

The opening notes of deliciously juicy pomegranate and soft rose petals are beautifully feminine yet not too overly sweet. A heart of black tea adds a sensual undercurrent of spice that blends with the floral note of jasmine. Upon dry-down, a light woody base finishes everything off nicely to add a discreet touch of sophistication.

As for when to wear, Pomegranate & Black Tea is a refined and comforting cooler-weather scent that’s perfectly suited for both day or night during autumn/winter/spring.

Somewhat surprisingly, Pomegranate & Black Tea Eau de Parfum lasted longer on my skin than the original JM fragrance it is appearing to emulate. You can expect 3-4 hours with soft sillage and projection.

Presented in a clear glass bottle with a gold label and complementing gold cap. The outer packaging is classy enough in white with a gold panel and white text.

Overall, Primark Pomegranate & Black Tea Eau de Parfum makes a great value alternative to the classic Jo Malone – Pomegranate Noir at a fraction of the price.

7. Rose Oud Eau de Parfum

Review

Primark Rose Oud Eau de Parfum is a woody rose fragrance that seems tailor-made for eveningwear on cold winter evenings. A lighter interpretation of the stunning Kilian – Rose Oud

The opening of Rose Oud begins with soft, delicate rose petals with a hint of green stems. A fruity heart of juicy raspberry soon rises to add a touch of intrigue to what could have been a generic rose fragrance. Upon dry-down, an extravagant woody base of sensual oud mingles with earthy patchouli. Delightful.

As for when to wear, this sensual rose fragrance leans more towards autumn/winter and perhaps early spring. Its woody base of oud really comes to life in the colder weather.

Performance of this Eau de Parfum is pretty good, with the longevity of 4-5 hours before becoming a skin scent. Projection and sillage are both moderate.

Presented in a clear glass bottle with a gold label and complementing gold cap. The outer packaging is white with a golden panel and white text. Looks far more expensive than its incredibly low price tag.

Overall, Rose Oud Eau de Parfum deviates from your typical rose fragrance. Its deep woody aroma creates a rose fragrance with a darker, more mysterious side.

8. Pink Peony And Tonka Bean Eau de Parfum

Review

Primark’s Pink Peony And Tonka Bean Eau de Parfum is somewhere between Gucci Envy Me and Jo Malone Peony & Blush Suede. This pretty floral fragrance gives a sultry spiced vanilla-esque finish thanks to the addition of tonka bean.

The opening is fragrantly floral, with slightly sweet pink peony creating an initial vibe that is pretty and feminine. Soft, powdery rose petals rise from the heart to mingle with sweet jasmine. Upon dry-down, tonka bean casts its spicy/sweet vanilla/almond magic, while suede adds a comforting muskiness.

As for when to wear, Pink Peony And Tonka Bean is an excellent addition to your spring/summer fragrance collection. The floral notes of the peony shine incredibly well through the deeper tonka bean and suede base. Can be worn for casual daywear, formal evening wear and everything in between.

Performed better than I expected. After 4 hours, I could still get hints of the peony/tonka bean combo. Sillage and projection are soft but certainly noticeable.

Presented in a red glass bottle with a gold label and complementing gold cap. The outer packaging is red with a golden panel, and white text is eye-catching and rather sensual looking.

Overall, Pink Peony And Tonka Bean Eau de Parfum is a feminine floral fragrance with a luxurious base of tonka bean and suede. Smells glamorous and provocative.

9. Wild Azalea Eau de Parfum

Primark Wild Azalea Eau de Parfum
Credit: Primark

Review

Wild Azalea Eau de Parfum is a bright citrus/floral fragrance with an almost grassy tonka bean/vanilla base. Azalea is quite an unusual floral, making this scent an exciting break from the traditional floral fragrance.

The opening is crisp and zesty with cheerful notes of lemon. A heart of sweet yet lightly spiced azalea softens the edges of the initial citrus kick with its exotic boost of floral notes. A delicate base of almost grassy coumarin with a slight cinnamon/vanilla edge ties everything together nicely.

As for when to wear, Wild Azalea Eau de Parfum feels best suited for the changing seasons of spring and autumn. Feminine but not too girly, this unusual floral fragrance is well worth discovering.

Performance is pretty good with the longevity of 3-4 hours and reasonable sillage and projection. Lasts far longer on clothing.

Presentation is excellent, I love the square-sided bottle and its gold spray mechanism. The matching gold cap even has a pretty bow, and the outer packaging is equally eye-catching. Would make a lovely gift.

Overall, Wild Azalea Eau de Parfum is an enticing scent that is quite mature. The initial blast of citrus soon settles into an intoxicatingly floral fragrance. Not a blind buy, but those who like it will love it!

Lemon

Mid Notes:

Azalea

10. Peach Bouquet Eau de Parfum

Review

Peach Bouquet Eau de Parfum took me quite by surprise as was not what I expected. It’s a delightful combination of honey-coated citrus and flowers with a woody finish that is airy enough for daywear, yet has a sultry side that comes out to play after-hours.

Opening with orange citrus notes that are soon joined with exotically rich honey and brightly floral gardenia, Peach Bouquet is luxurious from the start. A base of rich, woody notes adds a splash of refinement, while patchouli brings a vibrant earthy finish.

As for when to wear, I felt this fragrance leans towards autumn/winter/spring and is best suited for more formal occasions. Think fancy lunch or dinner, a trip to the theatre, wedding reception and the odd party.

The performance of Peach Bouquet Eau de Parfum is better than I expected. Notes fade after about 3-4 hours, although sillage and projection during that time are good. You will want to reapply this beauty so keep a bottle handy for a cheeky top-up.

Presentation is classy, the square-sided bottle and its gold sprayer are almost art-deco. The matching gold cap even has a pretty peach bow! The outer packaging is equally eye-catching with vertical white and peach stripes, giving an almost Penhaligon’s feel.

Overall, Peach Bouquet Eau de Parfum is a luxurious feminine fragrance that feels glamorous to wear, and the perfect scent for every occasion.

Blood Orange

Mid Notes:

Honey, Gardenia
