3. Peony Eau de Parfum

Review
Another must-buy is the recent Zara 2022 release, Peony Eau de Parfum. This fun and girly fruity/floral scent is similar to the rather fabulous Idôle by Lancôme.
Delicious aromas of succulent pear and semi-sweet blackcurrant collide with a pretty floral heart of peony, rose, gardenia, and iris. Vanilla and praline add a nice touch of sweetness.
Top Notes:
Pear, Blackcurrant

Peony, Rose, Gardenia, Iris

4. Red Temptation Eau de Parfum

Review
Red Temptation Eau de Parfum is an elegant mossy/amber fragrance Zara first launched in 2020. Definitely similar to the timeless Baccarat Rouge 540 by Maison Francis Kurkdjian.
The opening of saffron, bitter orange, and coriander is softened by a heart of sweet praline and fragrant jasmine. Woody amber, moss and musk give it an almost vintage feel.
Top Notes:
Saffron, Bitter Orange, Coriander
Mid Notes:
Praline, Jasmine
Base Notes:
Woody Amber, Moss, Musk
Seasons & Longevity
As the name suggests, Red Temptation Eau de Parfum is more of an evening scent that best suits the autumn and winter months, perhaps creeping into spring.

Zara Red Vanilla Eau de Toilette is an elegant floral-fruity fragrance launched back in 2015. It remains a firm favourite with its dedicated fans who say it’s similar to Lancôme La Vie Est Belle.
This crowd-pleasing fragrance has fruity top notes of pear, blackcurrant and raspberry, with sweet and floral middle notes of iris, vanilla and praline. Sensual base notes of striking patchouli and creamy tonka bean add depth.
Top Notes:
Pear, Blackcurrant, Tangerine, Raspberry

7. Elegantly Toyko Eau de Parfum

Review
Created by Jo Malone for Zara in 2021, Elegantly Toyko Eau de Parfum is a heavenly white floral fragrance with a silky woody smoothness that’s utterly feminine.
This fragrance begins with a white floral bouquet of exotic lily and fragrant Arabian jasmine that reminds me of Diptyque Do Son.
Upon dry-down, aromas of akigalawood sooth the fresh white floral tones to create something extraordinary. The scent is fresh and uplifting, yet with a smooth woodiness I love.
Top Notes:
Lily
Mid Notes:
Arabian Jasmine
Base Notes:
Akigalawood
Seasons & Longevity
As for when to wear, Elegantly Toyko is a subtle spring/summer scent that doesn’t overwhelm. Perfect for daytime walks in the busy city.
Considering the softer notes in this fragrance, it lasts around 4 hours with soft sillage and projection. It will need topping up throughout the day but well worth the bother.

8. Violet Blossom Eau de Parfum

Review
Launched in 2019, Zara Violet Blossom Eau de Parfum is a feminine and captivating fragrance that’s described as being “nocturnal” – so it’s probably safe to say that this is a scent that’s best worn in the evening!
Violet Blossom is known in the fragrance community for being a decent dupe of Girl of Now by Elie Saab.
Opening top notes of aromatic apple and lily that lead to lemony/floral notes of magnolia. Upon dry-down, a creamy and slightly spicy base of tonka bean adds an almost retro vibe.
Top Notes:
Apple, Lily
Mid Notes:
Magnolia
Base Notes:
Tonka bean
Seasons & Longevity
Violet Blossom has heavy sillage when first applied and reasonable longevity of 4+ hours. Will make an impact but doesn’t overpower or overwhelm.
As for when to wear, it’s undeniably an evening scent that is well suited to autumn/winter/spring. Can be worn when in casual clothes or dressed to impress.

9. Wonder Rose Eau de Toilette

Review
Wonder Rose Eau de Toilette is an aromatic, fruity fragrance first launched in 2019. If you are looking for a rose fragrance, be warned, as it contains no rose to speak of, so the name is a little odd.
The scent opens with soft notes of sweet peach, red fruits and candied tutti frutti accord. A delicate heart of jasmine is soon overpowered by moreish vanilla and coconut upon dry-down.
Overall, a very feminine combination of sweet fruits and vanilla with a touch of jasmine. Similar to Lacoste Pour Elle Sparkling.
Top Notes:
Peach, Red fruity notes, Tutti frutti accord
Mid Notes:
Jasmine
Base Notes:
Coconut, Vanilla
Seasons & Longevity
As for when to wear, it’s really versatile and works day or night in any-season (maybe slightly more suited to daytime wear)—another great all-rounder from the fashion retailer.
Wonder Rose’s sillage and projection are both moderate, and longevity is 3+ hours. This is to be expected for such a soft, delicate, and pretty fragrance.

10. Gardenia Eau de Parfum

Review
Zara Gardenia Eau de Parfum is an oriental floral fragrance launched in 2021. It’s sweet, floral, modern and feminine plus very similar to YSL Black Opium thanks to the coffee note.
Opening with raspberry and peach are soon joined by an elegant floral heart of fragrant gardenia and orange blossom.
Upon dry-down, a deliciously deep base of rich coffee and a touch of vanilla (although vanilla is not listed on the notes) add glamour and sophistication. Settles to a classy feminine evening scent.
Top Notes:
Peach, Raspberry
Mid Notes:
Gardenia, Orange Blossom
Base Notes:
Coffee
Seasons & Longevity
This fragrance is really versatile although I would probably say it swings a little towards autumn, winter and early spring and is worth saving for fancy evenings out.
